PRESS ON!!

Hey friends, it’s been a long time I wrote here. Since my last blog, with the help of the Holy Spirit we’ve hosted our first ever in person conference, we premiered our second ever documentary titled “The Answer”, I’ve done alot of preaching on the streets… including street preaching in the nation’s Capital Ottawa, all the way to Niagara falls. I’ve seen alot of things the last few months and I’m here to say Jesus still reigns… He is still in the business of seeking and saving the lost. He is still plundering hell to populate heaven through His bride and followers out there on the streets.
Though many have heard the gospel through our many street preaching campaigns, I can’t get over people that sometimes tell me they battle with depression. As we approach Christmas, I am reminded more people battle with depression with the pressure of the season. Pressure and depression is not from God, it is a strategy from the enemy to keep many frustrated and hostagged. While I reflected on the word depression, I noticed there is this word found in it “PRESS ON”. Take away the first three letters “dep”, and the eighth letter ‘i’ you’ll get the words “PRESS ON”. The Apostle Paul encourages us in Philippians 3:14 to PRESS ON toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Remember, words are powerful. We become what we speak over ourselves. The Apostle Paul could have complained and given up seeing the many challenges he went through while preaching the gospel in various places, but He showed and taught us how to PRESS ON by resting in the Lord and solely depending on His strength. The Apostle Paul was bit by a snake, caught in the mouth of a lion, he was stoned, had a shipwreck, went many days without food, spent long periods in jail, yet we found him saying in Philippians 3:14 that he PRESSED ON having his reward from the Lord in mind. My friends, whatever challenges or situations you may find yourself in this season, PRESS ON and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus alone. The author of Hebrews also encourages us not to throw away our confidence in the Lord inspite of our challenges and struggles, it will be richly rewarded. We need to PRESS ON, persevere … and keep doing the will of God knowing His got a great reward ahead for us. More grace to you all, Solomon
