I believe Some of our greatest moments of influence are when others get to watch God walk us through fire.

But suddenly, Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in amazement and exclaimed to his advisers, “Didn’t we tie up three men and throw them into the furnace?” “Yes, Your Majesty, we certainly did,” they replied. “Look!” Nebuchadnezzar shouted. “I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god!”- Daniel 3:24-25

When it feels like we are going through the fire, we must be strong knowing Jesus is right in there with us. Whether it’s the fire of financial struggle, fire of loneliness, fire of health issues, fire in your marriage, or fire at your job; remember you’re not alone in the fire. While you keep your faith you are inspiring others as you walk through the fire. Sometimes Jesus delivers us FROM the fire! Sometimes Jesus delivers us THROUGH the fire….He is always more than the fire walking with us as we grow through it.

God’s plan is not always a route that makes sense. But then again, He never said it would be easy …just that it’d be worth it. Enjoy the planned detour God has you on, Instead of asking God, “WHY am I going through this? start asking, “God, WHAT are you preparing me for?”

Just like Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in amazement with what he saw God do with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego so will those who aren’t for your success jump in amazement when they see what God does in and through you in the fire. Some of your greatest moments of influence will be in this scene of your story. You’ll walk through this fire with God and not smell like smoke.
