Matthew 24:36
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

I recently felt led to visit a friends place un-announced. After the brief visit, I left wishing I had not visited them seeing I interrupted them. They would later tell me how the Lord began to speak to them about His return upon our leaving. It got me thinking how the Lord had set up my un-announced visit to them also to remind me of His soon return.

There are many out there busy going on about their own agenda forgetting we are getting closer to the return of the Lord. A question for you, if the Lord returned tonight, will He find you doing what He’s created you for?  Will He find you ready? Have we ever taken some time to reflect on what His return would look like? He’s coming is going to be a glorious experience for those who have giving up everything to follow Him, and a terrifying experience for those who have rejected Him.

Moving forward, the un-announced return of the Lord should bring joy to us wherever we may be in life or whatever we are going through. God has benefit exclusively for survivors. He is coming back quickly with His reward with Him; He will give to each person according to what they had done before His return as mentioned in Revelation 22:12.

The good news of Jesus return should get us

–Aspiring to be more like Him.

–Connecting with people…making and being disciples.

–Telling others of the good news of the gospel.

–Involved in the things of God

–Voicing out our love for Jesus and reminding all of His return.

–Encouraged and fired up more for Him.

Like Jesus, we must be ACTIVE in God’s business, doing the will of the Father. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me- Jesus in John 6:29.
