2 Corinthians 1:3-4
“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.”
We are able to comfort others by embracing our C.E.O calling. We are all wired to be Chief Encouragement Officers to the glory of God. There’s not a soul created by God, that does not have the ability to impact someone else’s life for better. It could be sending a friend a text that is going through rough times. It might be buying food for a homeless person or even helping someone in need do their groceries.
Whichever way you feel led by God to encourage someone, go for it. Your act of courage could be the difference maker in their day, and even their life. We live in a time where so many people are battling with discouragement and feeling hopeless. … We can be the miracle in their hopeless situation. I love 1 Thessalonians 5:11 – “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact we are doing.”
When God brings you out of a storm, be excited to testify about it. God loves it when we comfort others who are feeling discouraged with the storms of life. Our testimonies can be the key that can unlock someone else from their prison. In our testimonies we testify about the greatest testament of all time. We tell the world about the hope we have found in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We tell the world change is possible.
