PLANNED DETOUR! God’s Detours are not Dead-Ends.

God planned our detours before He formed us in our mother’s womb. Look back in your life, the enemies many intended events to destroy you, were strategically used by God to position you and transport you this far. You are on a planned detour to a higher ground.

You might be going through a phase experiencing road blocks, Ask God for perspective and understanding. Ask Him to open your eyes. Watch and wait to see if the Lord is working in an unexpected way. You may be in store for a blessing you never anticipated.

You might be a person believing God for a Godly husband, an amazing career, and children or healing for a love one. Whatever it is, God has a blessing coming your way… He’s detours are not dead-Ends.

God knows the best routes to take us on. He sees dangers and temptations that we don’t see along the way. Sometimes we get frustrated with God when He takes us through places we hadn’t planned on going. His route sometimes appears to be out of the way, inconvenient, tiresome, and confusing. But we must recognize His voice, listen carefully, and do exactly as He instructs. God is so good at preparing His children for His purposes and glory.

We read about an inspiring event in Exodus 13:17-18. God had Planned Detour for the Israelites as they went from slavery out of Egypt.

When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.  So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. The Israelites went up out of Egypt ready for battle”

So often we pray for things we may not be ready for, Understand God has to prepare you before He takes you in that open door. God knows the best road sides to take us through before we see His promises come to pass in our stories. There are times we see what we are praying for instantly, other times we see things happening gradually, but we must believe by faith eventually His promises will come to pass in His timing. Enjoy your current season of preparation knowing you’re being set-up for an amazing miracle.
