I was about 7. I had been selected to go preach at a kids outdoor event and I went without even telling my family. While seating at the high table, I was informed I am the next in line to go preach, The kid who preached before me had done such an amazing job, I became extremely afraid, I had forgotten my bible verses….I thought, who could save me from this hour? I prayed in my heart for God to save me from shame. Not even 5 minutes later, it began to rain hard and the event was shut down.
He is mighty to save.
God qualifies and equips the called, He also shuts the door when the called goes ahead of Him. Don’t let impatience fast track you into an opportunity you are not ready for, wait for God’s green light.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
