A Call To Write!

ewwwds

Martyn Luther once famously said “If you want to change the world, pick up your pen and write.” God is raising both men and women that will be courageous with their pen this season!

There is a moment in time, that collides with eternity where everything changes if you grab the moment. This is that moment; we have an incredible moment to seize, we are being invited to pick up our pens and write what the Lord is telling us to write down during this Covid 19 period.

Approximately one third of the New Testament consists of letters, or epistles, written by the apostle Paul. King David wrote some beautiful Psalms in the Cave. The Apostle John wrote the revelation the Lord gave him in his Exile at Patmos. We are also being given something powerful to write down this season. Keep the faith knowing the gospel shall never be quarantined.

When Jonah came out of the “Whale”, Nineveh was saved. I believe when God’s people come out of this quarantine season, they will move in God’s power that will result to many people being saved in their cities! I believe this period is one last wake up call for the church…for too long we’ve been waiting for a move of God, forgetting that we are a move of God. If God’s people don’t answer their call to write down what God is saying to them who else will? Your blog, your script, your journal, your book, the song you’re to write may be the encouragement many thousands need in the coming season if you begin now.

Don’t waste this season, be intentional in writing down your God given dreams and visions! No matter what we might be walking through, we can still have the confidence that Jesus is the God of the comeback and that our story is not over as long Jesus is in it.

God has chosen you to effectively and perfectly express Him through your writing in such a way that when people look past you, they can’t help but to say there is a God! May the good Lord give you many inspirations as you pick up your pen to write.

“My heart overflows with a pleasing theme; I address my verses to the king; my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.-Psalm 45:1”
