When it comes to waiting on the Lord, not many of us think of waiting on Him with courage. Waiting with courage on the Lord means we must fight off every distraction or temptation that wants us to move ahead of Him. Waiting on the Lord with courage does not mean we would eventually get more stuff or what we want; it means we would be filled with more of God and get from Him what we need. 

Sometimes God answer’s our prayers with ~Be courageous and wait on me.  Other times He says ~Be courageous and go with ME. He sometimes will not move the mountain we see in our stories, until the desert and mountain have done their work in reshaping us.

We often associate the word courage with movement or going after something! There is a verse in the bible that speaks of courage in terms of waiting on the Lord.

Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! -Psalm 27:14

• God has a perfect understanding of each and everyone of us…we were created by Him!
• He knows how we struggle to wait for His best…we settle for less!
• He even knows how we continually fall in the trap of our busy schedule….waiting on His timing is the best!

Be of good courage in your wait on the Lord, and be encouraged by the words of ”Max Lucado”… 

God rewards those who seek Him. Not those who seek doctrine of religion or systems or creeds. Many settle for these lesser passions, but the reward goes to those who settle for nothing less than Jesus himself. And what is the reward? What awaits those who seek Jesus? Nothing short of the heart of Jesus.
